After the death of MJ, I decided to check out my record collection to see what I had by him.
There was of course "Thriller", "Dangerous", and "The Ultimate Collection." by the Jackson 5.
I realized I needed "Bad" so I quickly ordered that one.
Getting back to "The Ultimate"...it is a amazing at how great these young boys were. They had 4 #1 hits...consecutively. "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save" and "I'll Be There."
The collection also includes hits "Maybe Tomorrow", "Sugar Daddy", "Got To Be There" and ""Never Can Say Goodbye."
If that ain't enough, there is also "Dancing Machine", and Michael's hit,"Rockin' Robin."
Jermaine even has a solo "Daddy's Home."
This album is a fine tribute to a ground-breaking band and an early testament to the musical greatness of Michael Jackson.
I am a fountain of musical knowledge and I am here to share my memories of my favorite thing...MUSIC!

"Lotusflow3r" by Prince...
When I first heard that Prince would release a three LP set and that it would only be sold at Target stores,,,well..I was a wee bit skeptical.
Well I have listened and now I am a believer.
The set features 2 Cd's by Prince, "Lotusflow3r" and "Mpls Sounds" and a CD by Prince protege Bria Valencia "Elixir."
While the title lp is good with cuts like "Dreamer" and an amped up cover of "Crimson and Clover", it's the "Mp[s" CD that really woke me up.
The guitar playing took me back to the Eighties! "Box of Chocolates" is extremely good as well as "Ol Skool Company" and my favorite cut,"Ur Gonna C Me."
I would rate this set a "B".
I haven't listened to Bria's CD yet. After hearing the fresh Prince cuts....why bother.
(Ahem)
