The Four Tops' Levi Stubbs Dies...

The lead singer of the popular Motown group, The Four Tops" died Oct. 17Th at the age of 72.
Levi Stubbs had a voice that was truly unique. I remember when I first heard the Tops' version of "Walk Away Rene", I was stunned. I stopped in my tracks and was enthralled his interpretation of the lyric.
The Tops' other biggies include, " Baby, I Need Your Loving", "Bernadette", 'The Same Old Song", and the great "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch".
I remember seeing them on the old 'Es Sullivan Show" and how me and my brothers would rock back and forth like the Tops...
